Time, Told Slowly

I’m Chris — the person behind the camera, the editing timeline, and everything in between at Racky Photography.

I specialise in landscape, urban, and travel timelapses, alongside outdoor photography that captures the same restless beauty: shifting light, moving clouds, cities that never quite sleep. Whether it’s a sunrise breaking over open countryside or a city skyline compressing a full day into a few seconds, I’m drawn to the same thing — capturing the beauty of our world and showing people a version of time they don’t normally get to see.

Why Timelapse

There’s something about watching hours collapse into moments that never stops feeling a little bit like magic. A sky that seems still to the naked eye is, in reality, in constant motion. A city that looks static from a rooftop is actually breathing — traffic pulsing, light shifting, crowds ebbing and flowing. Timelapse lets you show people that motion they’d otherwise never notice.

That fascination is what led me from shooting landscapes and travel photography as a personal passion to building Racky Photography around it.

What I Do

Landscape Timelapses — from golden hour over hills and coastlines to full day-to-night transitions, capturing the natural world in motion.

Hyperlapse - A silky smooth hyperlapse (moving timlapse) can really show a scene in a different way and capture your audiences attention.

Urban & Cityscape Timelapses — city skylines, street life, architecture, and the everyday rhythm of urban spaces.

Travel Timelapses — location-based storytelling for destinations, hotels, tourism boards, or personal projects that want to capture a place’s atmosphere in a way stills alone can’t.

Outdoor Photography — landscape and travel stills shot with the same eye for light, composition, and place.

Why Work With Me

Racky Photography is a one-person operation, and that’s very much by design. Every shoot, every edit, every final delivery is handled personally by me — no handing your project off to a junior team, no layers between you and the person actually doing the work. You get direct communication, consistent quality, and someone who genuinely cares about getting the shot right.

Being newly established means I’m building this business project by project — which means early clients get my full attention, competitive rates, and a genuine investment in making each piece of work something I’m proud to put my name on.

Let’s Create Something

If you’re looking for hyperlapse, timelapse or outdoor photography that captures a place, a project, or a moment in a way that sticks with people, I’d love to hear from you.
